19th

My 19th birthday couldn't be any more less than great.

As we grow older, birthdays just don't really mean anything much any more. And have I mention anything about me not liking my birthday?

I just dislike it when people have to spend extra effort getting me things or planning celebrations for me. Felt like a burden and hence I didn't really expect anything from any one. 

But my parents, being the sweetest parents, planned a mini surprise for me by purchasing a golden village's gold class movie ticket, with set dinner included?!

they know how much movie theatre is home to me and they just bought this ticket for me so I can really enjoy the top notch facility of lying down, drinking beer and eating my steak while watching movie...

and for the next day, I have friends meeting up earlier morning to get flowers and balloons for me on my birthday, and later on entering the lecture hall, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LECTURE, and screamed happy birthday singing me a song....

bringing me to my favourite place to eat, buying me a cake that I like ( actually it was my dad favourite flavour but they mistook it as mine because I mentioned it that is was so good LOL), buying me presents, of one include my favourite book that I wanted to get?! 

I'm so touched by all these gestures. I don't need presents on my birthday but everything people have gotten for me- they are all the little,random things I mention/get excited about during conversations and they took notice of it.

Along side, I have gotten so much well wishes and love via various media platforms...

I truly felt like a princess that day and I can't be anymore blessed than what I am now.
